- Visit to Palazzo Madama: the visit to Palazzo Madama, situated in Piazza Castello, the very heart of Torino, will start at 14:30. Participants will have to gather in front of Palazzo Madama about 15 min. earlier and form two groups (no more than 25 people each). Two English speaking guides will accompany the groups inside, and provide all kind of information about this charming building, embracing 2000 years of history: from city gates in roman times, to official residence of the royal “Madames”. Today it hosts the local Ancient Art Museum.
- Tour around Torino city center: at the end of the visit to Palazzo Madama, a guide will take us for a nice walk through the best spots of Torino city center. The tour will end in front of the Mole Antonelliana, the tallest building in Torino which is also its symbol. If the weather is good, we might have the chance to go on top of the Mole, for a glance to the wonderful mountains surrounding Torino.
- Conference dinner: the conference dinner will take place at the Bruschetteria Pautasso, Piazza Emanuele Filiberto 4, in the so-called Quadrilatero Romano, a very lively and recently renovated part of the city center which comes to life especially at night. At the end of our walk around Torino city center, Bruschetteria Pautasso will offer us a welcome drink before we start dinner.
